SelectGlobal, LLC Recent Activity:

We have been on the go meeting with various international companies looking to enter the U.S. While non-disclosure agreements (NDA) will not allow us to share specific names, locations and details at this time, we are excited to be working with businesses in the solar, plastics, modular home gaming, retail, gaming industries. 

As projects come to fruition, we will be able to share more exciting details.

GDC 2023: We were blown away with the size and scale of the Game Developers Conference in San Fransisco. To give you a sense of the scale, here is the recap from the organizers: 

The industry's premier event for game developers saw more than 28,000 registered attendees—more than doubling the number of in-person attendees from last year's event. GDC 2023 featured over 1,000 speakers and 700 sessions, workshops, roundtable discussions and networking opportunities. 

More than 330 exhibitors were present to display their newest technologies, programs and services on the GDC Expo Floor, including industry leaders like Amazon Web Services, Adobe, Discord, Google, NEXON and more. 

For SelectGlobal, LLC and our sister company Ruatha Consulting, Inc., it was a time to meet with over 10 international pavilions, each with separate delegations, to learn about their business expansions both to the USA and across the world. Some of our favorite games were from Uruguay and from Belgium. It was nice to meet with many of our International Trade Commissioners' counter parts from Chile, Spain, and Belgium as well as trade commissioners from Costa Rica and Uruguay. We heard that the Polish Delegation after party hosted by PIAH Houston) was sensational. ProChile - Springtime Social at Helix 51 On Thursday, March 30, 2023, in partnership with ProChile, SelectGlobal, LLC co-hosted a tour of Helix 51 Bioscience Incubator at Rosalind Franklin University (RFU) of Medicine and Science Innovation and Research Park in North Chicago. We welcomed several dozen international consulate office and trade representatives from Mexico, Ukraine, The Czech Republic, Hong Kong, Korea, Argentina, Portugal, New Zealand and Lithuania! The important work being done at this premier lab and entrepreneurial startup facility was featured along with RFU’s exciting growth plans.

Thank you, Michael S. Rosen, Managing Director and Connie Cleary, DPM for also showcasing the Helix 51 Bioscience Incubator and additional opportunities in the Lake County life science corridor. It was great to have Mayor Leon Rockingham of North Chicago, Illinois with us for the event.

In April, Michael Edgar will be attending the Business Facilities LiveXchange Conference in Myrtle Beach, SC to help scout investment sites and development projects for our foreign companies & global investors. 

SelectGobal, LLC will be back at the SelectUSA Investment Summit in Washington D.C. From May 1-4 to meet with a multitude of trade delegations, current and past U.S. Commerce Department professionals, as well as "speed date" targeted companies looking to expand to the USA.
