SelectGlobal, LLC Attends NESA Site Selection Showcase: |

Our team recently had the opportunity to attend the NESA Site Selection Showcase in South Carolina from May 7th to 9th. As experts in bi-lateral foreign direct investment (FDI), we were excited to participate and explore new opportunities for growth and collaboration. This flagship event demonstrated the region's benefits for corporate investment and relocation.
Day 1 Highlights:
The event began with an Industry Celebration, which included a keynote talk from Lieutenant Governor Pamela Evette of South Carolina and representatives from Precise Welding Services. Attendees then went to various Chesterfield County locations, received a tour of ClubMX, and visited the Chesterfield County Development Office.

Day 2 Highlights:
The exciting day kicked off with a breakfast and community presentation at the Marlboro Country Club, followed by site visits around Marlboro County. Michael took a tour of three sites in Marlboro County. One that is nearly turnkey, with over 1,000,000 square feet and 500+ acres, as well as its own water treatment system.
Our team enjoyed lunch and refreshments with the members of Marion County businesses and local government at Abingdon Manor - this luxury accommodation is recognized as a “Classic Country Inn” and has received the prestigious Four Diamond rating for fifteen consecutive years.
The afternoon included wonderful discussions, a visit to Inland Port Dillon, and scaling the 86-foot gantry crane, wrapping up with a networking supper at 21 Main.

Day 3 Highlights:
On the third day, we enjoyed playing the legendary Myrtle Beach Classic golf course at the Dunes Golf and Beach Club. The NESA Showcase presented vital insights into South Carolina's thriving business climate and possibilities. SelectGlobal was delighted to meaningfully connect with economic development executives, site selectors, and enterprises looking to expand or relocate in the region.
"This showcase highlighted South Carolina's strategic location, business-friendly policies, and skilled workforce, making it an ideal investment destination for our clients," says Michael Edgar, SelectGlobal's CEO & President. "We look forward to facilitating more cross-border investments.”
